This photograph holds a lot of meaning and can truly touch people.

To start, the concept altogether is beautiful; especially how it portrays the frog. The title really defines the smallness of the frog and gives the photo a whole new meaning. The frog's position shows struggle or the frog moving which is a great part of the "big wide world" title.

The focus on the hand and frog enhances the title's meaning because it makes the rest of the picture vague and distant, like a "big wide world".

Overall the photo is very artistic. The only thing I can suggest is maybe you could have played around with colors. But that's just an opinion.
